This is a CT scan of a jelly donut. The raspberry filling is clearly visualized as a pink chicken-leg shape near the periphery of the donut disk. The actual filling volume is shockingly small given the expectations of the donut connoisseur. Frotunately, this scan made it possible to consume the donut in the appropriate location and toss the rest of the bland doughy mass away knowing that no jelly had been missed. The powdered sugar is evident on the surface of the disk as well.
