This is a CT scan of a toaster. The cord can be followed into the body of the toaster where it is connected with screws. The toast platforms which hold the toast between the heating elements can be clearly visualized in the center of the toast body. Despite scrutiny under this high resolution CT scan, we were unable to pinpoint the cause of toast only getting crisp on one side of the bread.
