This is a CT scan of a classic slice of New York pizza made "to go". Note the thin crust, the tomato sauce and the melted layer of cheese. It is stowed in a paper bag and sits on a paper plate, both shown here in green. Note that the pizza slice is a little too large for the bag and the tip of the slice got a little crumpled. This would never happen, of course, with Chicago pizza since it is much too thick to yield to a paper bag.
